Disclosed in the present invention is an apparatus for preventing the attachment of scale, which can prevent scale from being attached to a pipe using electric energy generated from electricity generation through the flow of water. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus for preventing the attachment of scale comprises: an apparatus main body (200) including an inlet (210) and an outlet (220) which are connected with a pipe (P) in order to allow water to flow in from the pipe (P), to flow the inside, and to be discharged from the pipe (P); a generation unit (300) which is placed at least one of the inlet (210) and the outlet (220) and generates electricity through the flow of the water; and a scale prevention unit (400) which is placed inside the apparatus main body (200) in order to be electrically connected with the generation unit (300), and prevents scale (S) from being attached to the pipe (P) using electric energy supplied from the generation unit (300). Therefore, the apparatus can prevent scale from being attached to the pipe using electricity generated from electricity generation through the flow of the water, can form scale into a structure which cannot be attached to the pipe by generating a cation by electric energy, can separate even scale already attached to the pipe, and can regulate the degree of preventing scale attachment appropriately according to the flow rate of the water. |
