A dielectric resonator which uses an electromagnetic wave and a cavity resonance and a blood glucose measuring technique using the same are disclosed. A blood glucose measuring apparatus according to an embodiment includes: a source unit which generates electromagnetic field energy; a sensor unit which receives and radiates the electromagnetic field energy to an object to be measured and detects an electric wave which is reflected from the object to be measured; and a process unit which determines the resonant frequency of the sensor unit by controlling the source unit and calculates the change of the blood glucose level of the object to be measured from the change of the resonant frequency and reflectance of the electric wave which is detected by the sensor unit. The sensor unit is equipped with the dielectric resonator which interacts with the object to be measured by inserting the object to be measured into the central inside by having metal outside, forming a cavity structure filled with air inside, and forming a hole in the inner center.
