The printing element has a feeding device which is provided to continuously supply printing ink from a color reservoir to a color retainer roll (1). A nozzle unit is provided in a conveyance path of the printing ink from the ink reservoir to the color retainer roll. The printing ink is compressed and released to an intermediate memory over a nozzle orifice of the nozzle unit.
