The present invention relates to a carbon emission quantity goal management system, and more specifically, to a system which is used to manage the goals regarding the carbon emission quantity for each consumption element and to monitor the carbon emission quantity to reduce the carbon emission quantity, and a method thereof. The system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a setting unit which sets the emission quantity goal for each element; a database for each element′s emission quantity goal which stores the emission quantity goal for each of the elements; an emission element database storing the data regarding the energy consumption elements; an emission quantity database storing the information regarding the carbon emission quantity for each of the consumption elements; and an emission quantity monitoring unit which monitors the total energy consumption and greenhouse gas emission quantity for each of the consumption elements.
