<p>A hob cover comprises at least two adjacent substantially rigid planar plates 1 formed of heat resistant material, the plates having connectors 2, 3 on at least three sides permitting the plates to be flexibly arranged to cover at least a part of the hob and a hob back. The hob back is orthogonal to the hob. The plates may be rectangular, square or have more than four sides, and may be a single moulded. The connectors may comprise of hooks 2 inter-engageable with catches 3 and provide resistance to movement. Through holes 5 permit the plates to be stacked together for transport or storage by the use of a securement, stacking member or cord such that the plates may be hung.</p> |
