The present invention relates to a sterilizing gypsum composition and a method for preparing the same, and more particularly, to a sterilizing gypsum composition formed of natural gypsum, a Saururus chinensis (Lour.) Baill. powder, ammonium chloride, calcium hydroxide, and additives, and a method for preparing the same. The method of the present invention comprises: a smashing step of smashing natural gypsum; a pressing step of adding disodium succinate to the natural gypsum smashed through the smashing step, followed by pressing; a firing step of adding potassium sulfate to the natural gypsum pressed through the pressing step, followed by firing; a first pulverizing step of putting a Saururus chinensis (Lour.) Baill. powder, ammonium chloride, and calcium hydroxide in the mixture fired through the firing step, followed by pulverizing; a second pulverizing step of re-pulverizing the mixture pulverized through the first pulverizing step using a vibrating mill; and a resin mixing step of putting a synthetic resin in the mixture re-pulverized through the second pulverizing step, followed by mixing.
