The present invention provides a composition for ameliorating inflammatory diseases comprising a mixture of fisetin and sulfuretin, which are mixed in a weight ratio of 1:9 to 9:1, as an effective component. The composition inhibits the generation of carbon monoxide which is a product of inflammation, decreases the concentration of immunoglobulin E and the concentration of interleukin-4 in serum, increases gamma-interferon, facilitates the differentiation and mineralization of osteoblast by inducing the activation of alkaline phosphatase, has effects of preventing osteoblast absorption and regenerating alveolar bones, remarkably inhibits the manifestation of tumor necrosis factor-αand interleukin-1β, which are inflammatory cytokines, and decreases pain induced by arthritis, thereby ameliorating symptoms of inflammatory diseases such as atopic dermatitis, periodontitis, and arthritis and capable of being used as a pharmaceutical composition, a cosmetic composition, etc. |
