The present invention relates to an apparatus for detecting the surface of a lens of an LED package. The apparatus comprises: an upper surface image obtaining unit which is installed in the upper part of a lens of an LED package in order to inspect the upper surface of the lens by radiating R, G, B, W, and UV oblique light; and a side surface image obtaining unit which is installed in the upper part of the lens of the LED package in order to inspect the side surface of the lens by refracting and reflecting R, G, B, W, and UV direct light. Therefore, the apparatus can improve defect inspection performance in order to inspect all defects on the top, side, and bottom surfaces of the lens of the LED package by inspecting the top and side surfaces of the lens of the LED package respectively, and can significantly improve inspection performance in order to inspect even small and various defects on the top, side, and bottom surfaces of the lens of the LED package, by conducting OR operation on upper surface image information and side surface image information obtained from the upper surface image obtaining unit and the side surface image obtaining unit, respectively, and by conducting OR operation on the respectively calculated OR operated upper surface image information and side surface image information. |
