According to an embodiment of the present invention, a display apparatus includes a display panel including a glass substrate, a black matrix formed on the glass substrate and dividing at least one of a plurality of pixels and a plurality of sub-pixels from others, and a mesh layer including a plurality of first conductive wires extending along a predetermined first direction on the glass substrate and a plurality of second conductive wires extending along a second direction different from the first direction on the glass substrate; and a control unit configured to determine a position of a touch, based on a change in electric current of at least one among the first conductive wires and at least one among the second conductive wires by the touch occurring on the display panel, wherein the first and second conductive wires are disposed on the substrate according to the arrangement of the black matrix.
