The device (D) has conductive cores (AC) surrounded by an inner insulator (II1) and an electromagnetic shielding unit (MB1) surrounded by an outer insulator (IE). A sleeve (MI) is provided with an inner face that is joined to another internal insulator (II2). Ends (E21, E22) of the sleeve are respectively press-fitted into ends (E11, E12) of electrical cables (C1, C2) and formed between the former insulator and the shielding unit such that conducting parts are in contact with the shielding unit. The latter insulator is placed between the sleeve and projecting portions (PS) of the cores. An independent claim is also included for an electric cable assembly. |
