PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device capable of performing restore processing to a slave device as much as possible even when the slave device connected via a network to the control device changes since data are created and a method of operating the control device.SOLUTION: A control device 100 includes: a storage part for storing device configuration information and setting information; and a processing part capable of executing restore processing by using data including the setting information. The processing part reads the device configuration information in the case of executing the restore processing, and specifies a slave device whose network connection is valid in the read device configuration information or the slave device existing on the network from among object slaves included in the data, and restores the setting information corresponding to the specified slave device. |
