PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analyzer capable of detecting and eliminating bubbles on a surface of a specimen or reagent liquid, achieving improvement in reliability of a result of an analysis and reduction in time and effort for a user to check bubbles.SOLUTION: An automatic analyzer comprises: a specimen storing container 101; an image capturing section 110 that captures an image of a specimen in the specimen storing container 101; an image analysis section 115 that detects bubbles 103 produced on a surface of the specimen or a liquid membrane 104 produced in the specimen storing container 101 on the basis of the image captured by the image capturing section 110; an ultrasonic wave generator 105 and a horn 106 that transmit ultrasonic waves to the inside of the specimen storing container 101; an analyzer control section 116 that allows the ultrasonic wave generator 105 and the horn 106 to transmit ultrasonic waves to the inside of the specimen storing container 101 and eliminates the bubbles 103 in the specimen storing container 101 and the liquid membrane 104. |
