A broadcasting terminal and a data search method of the same are provided to search a memory of the terminal when a user requests broadcast data and quickly offer a user the searched result by storing the broadcast data in the terminal when a broadcasting signal is received. A broadcasting receiver(100) receives a broadcast signal and data information related to a part of an picture by the broadcast signal. A key input unit(110) includes a plurality of numeric keys and function keys to output key signals generated from the keys to a controller(150). A memory(120) stores the data information, and a sound outputting part(130) audibly outputs a sound signal stored in a memory under the control of the controller. A display unit(140) receives and displays data corresponding to the key signals from the key input unit according to a control signal of the controller. |
