PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal capable of providing a user position and contents based on latest information when a packet network is not available.SOLUTION: The portable terminal 1 previously stores contents 232 stored in a distribution device 2 into a contents storage section 16 through a packet network, receives information to be displayed when an own terminal 1 is roamed out, from the distribution device 2 through a telephone line 7 in a text message style, and acquires contents 162 designated by the distribution device 2 from the contents storage section 16.
