<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leveling instrument allowing an inclined state to be measured without affection of change in size of an air bubble, facilitating a measurement work, and capable of reducing a manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A leveling instrument 1 comprises: a measurement base part 2 in which a reference level 2A abutted on a measuring plane S; an air bubble tube 3 in which a liquid 12 and an air bubble 13 are enclosed; and a readout line 15 of an air bubble end 13C of the air bubble 13 arranged along a third central axis line C3 of the air bubble tube 3 when the air bubble tube 3 is viewed from a front side with respect to the reference level 2A. When positions on a horizontal plane of the air bubble end 13C in the longitudinal direction of the air bubble tube 3 are reference positions B, the air bubble tube 3 is arranged with respect to the measurement base part 2 in a sensitivity adjustable manner such that the reference position B of the air bubble end 13C in measurement is varied not by change in temperature, but by change in size and shape of the air bubble 13 when the inclination angle of the air bubble tube 3 with respect to the reference level 2A is varied.</p> |
