Disclosed are a WLAN load determination method, device and system, which relate to communication technologies. A UE performing a corresponding measurement on a WLAN load according to an indication of a network side, thereby obtaining the WLAN load, and realizing the determination of the WLAN load. Meanwhile, the UE can also perform a network selection operation according to the load, so as to reduce the probability of a network selection failure, and can also send the load to the network side, so as to enable the network side to determine the WLAN load as well, thereby performing operations, such as load balancing.
