The present invention relates to a cleansing cloth which has a dual layer knit or fabric consisting of one layer made of a stainless steel wire, plastic yarn intensity group, or plastic flat yarn and the other layer made of natural or synthetic fiber yarn having excellent soft yarn, water absorbency, oil absorbency, and vibration-damping, and a method for preparing the same. The one layer is rough and stiff, and the other layer has excellent water absorbency, oil absorbency, and vibration-damping, thus filth attached to the rough bottom or the surface can be easily removed. The one layer is made of hard stainless steel yarn or plastic yarn, and the other layer is made from soft yarn, detailed synthetic fiber yarn, or functional fiber yarn, thus it can be conveniently used by machine or a hand because the cloth is thick.
