PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To turn off a lit screen display, which is kept displayed for a fixed time after an operation ends, when a user does not watch it, while suppressing addition of any special components as much as possible, in a mobile terminal in a slide shape or in a straight shape.SOLUTION: A mobile terminal having a power control function comprises: a screen display part which is positioned on an outer surface of the mobile terminal and displays information for a user; and an illuminance sensor for measuring, as illuminance, external lightness including lightness emitted by the screen display part. The illuminance is measured by the illuminance sensor and if the measured illuminance is lower than or equal to a predetermined threshold, a lit display on the screen display part is turned off. |
