PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To replace one of processing devices having failure in a system and enable the other processing devices to communicate with a replacement processing device by using the same procedures.SOLUTION: A switch unit connects processing devices and storage devices on the basis of connection information in order to configure a system. A storage unit stores association information indicating association of physical information for identifying the respective processing devices with logical information for identifying the respective processing devices in the system. On the basis of the association information, a first control unit converts the logical information of the transmission source processing device and the transmission destination processing device into their physical information, outputs their physical information via a transmission path, and converts the physical information of the transmission source processing device received via the transmission path into its logical information. A second control unit changes the connection information on the basis of occurrence of failure in one of the processing devices, and replaces the processing device having failure with the other processing device by controlling the switch unit. A third control unit rewrites the association information stored in the storage unit on the basis of the occurrence of failure. |
