PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing pad that further suppresses, compared to a prior art, wrinkles due to thermal expansion of a slide sheet at a nip part entrance of a nip part at which an unfixed toner image on a recording material is fixed. ! SOLUTION: A fixing pad 10 includes a housing 12, a slide sheet 14 that is fixed to an outer peripheral surface of the housing 12 at both ends so as to provide a slide surface 15, and tensile force providing members 16a and 16b that are provided between one fixed end part of the slide sheet 14 and the slide surface 15 to provide tensile force to the slide sheet 14. !
