PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the discharge amount of each nozzle when driving two respective piezoelectric elements corresponding to two adjacent pressure chambers larger than the discharge amount of the nozzle when driving either one piezoelectric element only. ! SOLUTION: An inkjet head has a plurality of first pressure chambers 53a disposed at one face side of a piezoelectric actuator 44, and a plurality of the second pressure chambers 53b disposed at the other face side of the actuator 44. The pluralities of the first and second pressure chambers 53a and 53b are commonly covered by the actuator 44. When two piezoelectric elements 65 corresponding to the adjacent first and second pressure chambers 53a and 53b, respectively, are driven by a driver IC45, two portions of the actuator 44 covering the adjacent two pressure chambers 53 are displaced in mutually opposite directions. !
