The method, according to the present invention comprises several steps: diluting the soy sauce; putting dried kelp in the soy sauce, followed by heating; mixing a crab in with the soy sauce after the soy sauce has cooled, followed by curing; separating the crab from the cultured soy sauce, and then reheating the soy sauce; remixing the separated crab with cooled soy sauce, followed by culturing; separating the crab from the cultured soy sauce, and putting mung beans and wormwood in the soy sauce, followed by reheating; remixing the crab again with the soy sauce after it has cooled; and quickly freezing the cultured soy sauce and crab at -25°C. The method for making a soy sauce marinated crab using mung beans according to the present invention provides a soy sauce marinated crab capable of preventing the accumulation of heavy metals in the body, as well as providing an improved palatability and nutritional value compared with the existing soy sauce marinated crab recipes.
