PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pouch type lithium secondary battery which secures moisture and gas barrier properties, insulating properties, initial performance, formability, charge-discharge properties, and high-temperature storage properties at desired levels, and which is lightweight and manufactured in a simple process at low cost.SOLUTION: A pouch type lithium secondary battery includes: jelly-roll type electrode assemblies; a resin-type first packing material formed of a two-layer structure having an inner resin layer and an outer resin layer, and packing the jelly-roll type electrode assemblies each in the form of a unit cell; and a metal-type second packing material that integrally packs and contains two or more unit cells each packed in the first packing material in the form of a module, and prevents moisture and gas penetration by a sealed structure. |
