PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an electrode material which enables improvement of not only electron conductivity, but also lithium ion conductivity by controlling a film thickness of a carbonaceous coating when an electrode active material with a carbonaceous coating formed on its surface is used as the electrode material; an electrode; and a lithium ion battery.SOLUTION: An electrode material of the invention comprises aggregates formed by agglomeration of carbonaceous material-coated electrode active material particles having a carbonaceous coating formed on the surface at a coverage of 80% or more. The carbonaceous material-coated electrode active material particles include: first carbonaceous material-coated electrode active material particles with a carbonaceous coating formed on the surface in a thickness of 0.1-3.0 nm and an average thickness of 1.0-2.0 nm; and second carbonaceous material-coated electrode active material particles with a carbonaceous coating formed on the surface in a thickness of 1.0-10.0 nm and an average thickness of over 2.0 nm to 7.0 nm. |
