PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water storage system which allows easy take-in of fresh water into a water storage portion in the sea and take-out of fresh water from the water storage portion.SOLUTION: An in-sea water storage portion 20 composed of a flexible bag 21 is floated on the sea, and a ground water storage portion 10 is installed on the land 2. The upper end part of the ground water storage portion 10 is set to be higher than the average sea level Hin the installation sea area for the in-sea water storage portion 20, and the bottom part of the ground water storage portion 10 is set to be lower than the average sea level Hin the installation sea area for the in-sea water storage portion 20. The in-sea water storage portion 20 and the ground water storage portion 10 are communicated mutually through a communication pipe 32. Fresh water is caused to flow from the in-sea water storage portion 20 to the ground water storage portion 10 through the communication pipe 32 or from the ground water storage portion 20 to the in-sea water storage portion 10 according to the water head difference between the two water storage portions 10 and 20. |
