The present invention relates to a device and a method for producing a synthetic resin sheet having a new structure by which a synthetic resin sheet having a particular thickness can be effectively produced. The device of the present invention comprises: a compressing and molding device (A) which produces a cylindrical synthetic resin billet (1) by compressing synthetic resin powder; an oven (B) which heats and plasticizes the synthetic resin billet (1) produced in the compressing and molding device (A); a cutter (C) which produces a synthetic resin sheet (3) by cutting the surface of the synthetic resin billet (1) heated and plasticized in the oven (B); and a winder (D) which winds the synthetic resin sheet (3) cut in the cutter (C). Synthetic resin powder is molded into a cylindrical synthetic resin billet (1) and is then hardened, and the circumferential surface of the hardened synthetic resin billet (1) is cut into a thin sheet (3) using a cutter (C) so that a synthetic resin sheet (3) is produced. Accordingly, compared to an extruding and molding technique to melt the raw materials of synthetic resin and forcibly extrude the same into a thin sheet (3) through a mold frame (10), the device of the present invention can produce a synthetic resin sheet (3) having a correct thickness. |
