The device has an input shaft (24) connected with a bar (28) of first planetary gear (18) such that an intermediate shaft (36) is connected with sun wheels (38, 40) of second planetary gear (20). A two-piece driven shaft (42) is provided with first shaft portion (42a), which executes a ring gear (48) of the first planetary gear and second shaft portion (42b) that forms a bar (46) of the second planetary gear. The shaft portions of the driven shaft are connected with one another by a clutch (K2). The intermediate shaft is connected to the input shaft by another clutch (K1). The intermediate shaft is designed as a sleeve shaft. The clutches are designed as hydraulic actuatable disk clutches.
