PHOTONIC CRYSTAL, COLOR FILM SUBSTRATE, DISPLAY PANEL, AND DISPLAY DEVICE

A photonic crystal, a color film substrate, a display panel, and a display device. A forbidden band of the photonic crystal comprises a visible light wave band and a defect layer is arranged in the photonic crystal. The photonic crystal comprises a red area, a green area, and a blue area. A photonic crystal with a defect layer and corresponding to the red area is used for transmitting red light, a photonic crystal with a defect layer and corresponding to the green area is used for transmitting green light, and the photonic crystal with a defect layer and corresponding to the blue area is used for transmitting blue light. The color film substrate and the display panel each comprise a photonic crystal film formed by a photonic crystal. The display device comprises a display panel with a photonic crystal film. The photonic crystal solves the technical problem of low transmittance of a display panel in the prior art.
