PURPOSE:To reduce the deterioration of the working ratio of a system, by providing a file controlling part with a file accessing part and a copy processing part and switching a filing device without stopping the use of the current filing device. CONSTITUTION:When a filing device switching command is generated, the copy processing part 7 copies the whole data to a disc device B4 by repeating the holding and releasing of the contents of a disc device A3 in each copying unit. The processing part 7 outputs the information of the completion of copying to a file accessing part 6. The accessing part 6 separates the device A3 and switches the current filing device A3 to the device B4. When writing operation from a processing part 1 to the device A3 is generated during the copying operation, the accessing part 6 writes the writing data in the device A3. The accessing part 6 checks whether the system is in copying or not, and if it is in copying, writes data also in the device B4. In case of no copying, the writing in the device B4 is skipped. |
