Application of image effects based on received progressive user swiping, where the image is progressively displayed for a plurality of different image effects. The progressive user swiping may comprise of translational, lateral, linear or curved movement while in constant contact with a touch screen, where the application of different functions may be based on the user swiping along a second axis different to the first. Input may also be via a peripheral device such as a mouse. As the users swiping input progresses different image effect types are selected and previewed, when the swiping input is terminated the last selected image effect type continues to be displayed, the user can then select whether they wish to apply the selected image effect type by tapping the image or via a selectable option. This allows a user to see the application of different effect types quickly and easily. |
