The present invention relates to an apparatus for controlling a droplet and, more specifically, to an apparatus for directly charging a droplet by using electricity, and controlling the charged droplet by using the phenomenon of electrophoresis. The present invention provides the apparatus for controlling a droplet to charge through the electrode direct contact, and for controlling a single droplet or multiple droplets individually by using the electrophoresis, comprising an oil layer where a droplet is transferred, and capable of minimizing gravity and friction when the droplet is transferred; a filling layer located in the lower part of the oil layer, and capable of preventing friction when the droplet is transferred; multiple electrodes arranged at the same height as the filling layer by being penetrated into the filling layer, and vertically arranged on the floor of the filling layer; a droplet driving part consisting of a housing in the form of a water tank capable of containing the oil layer and the filling layer; a controlling part for controlling movement and charging of the droplet by applying separate power to the electrode; and a connecting part for connecting the droplet driving part and the controlling part. |
