The present invention relates to a paging method in a wireless communication system and an apparatus supporting the same, and, more specifically, to a paging method and an apparatus supporting the same which retransmit a downlink data notification message if a serving gateway server receives a tracking area updating request message including location information of a terminal, and an apparatus supporting the same. The paging method of a terminal in a wireless communication system according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a step of in which a serving gate way (SGW) transmits a downlink data notification message to a first mobile management entity (MME) allocated to a first area for a terminal in an idle mode located in a second area; a step in which a second MME allocated to the second area receives a tracking area updating request message including location information of said terminal; a step in which the second MME transmits a bearer modifying request message including the location information to the SGW; and a step in which the SGW having received the bearer modifying request message retransmits the downlink data notification message to the second MME. |
