PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to prevent the destroy of a electrode assembly and defects from occurring by putting a uplift portion with a protruded structure in the top and the bottom of a sealing part. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery (100a) has an electrode assembly (10) of an anode / a separation film / a cathode structure on a battery case (40a) and seals the electrode assembly by heat sealing. The electrode assembly comprises electrode taps (30, 32) and two electrode leads (20, 22) connected electrically with each other. Some of the upper and the lower sides of the electrode lead have an attachment of Insulating films (50, 52) to enhance sealing power and to secure electrical insulation state. An uplift portion with a protruded structure (92) is positioned in the outer periphery of a sealing part (60a) in an electrode assembly storage unit (90).The uplift portion walks linearly along a part of the outer periphery of the storage unit near the storage unit. |
