The present invention relates to a chip on glass (COG) type liquid crystal display device and provides a liquid crystal display (LCD) device comprising gate lines and data lines, which are formed to cross each other to define a plurality of pixel areas by corresponding to a display area; a pad for a chip mounting, which is connected with a driver IC driving at least one of gate and data lines; an output pad which includes at least two test pads for detecting an error of one of the gate and data lines, wherein the pad for a chip mounting is connected to one of the gate and data lines and outputs a signal of the driver IC; an input pad which is connected to an external circuit and receives a signal from the external circuit; and at least two dummy pads which are interconnected with one another through the driver IC. The at least two test pads are connected to the at least two dummy pads one by one. |
