Provided is a composition for a bipolar plate of a fuel cell including carbon fiber filaments and graphitizing fibers in an epoxy-carbon particle composition to increase electrical conductivity and mechanical strength of an epoxy-carbon particle composite material. To solve the decrease of mechanical strength and the increase of electrical resistance induced by the decrease of the cross-section of the bipolar plate at a part in which a flow path is formed to about 50%, provided is a method for manufacturing a bipolar plate, by disposing a composition including a large amount of particular graphite at a center portion, and disposing a composition including a large amount of carbon fiber filaments and graphitizing fibers at a flow path forming part at both sides of the bipolar plate. The epoxy-carbon composite composition for a bipolar plate of a polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell according to an embodiment of the present invention includes 20-30 w/w% of a polymer, 60-80 w/w% of particular carbon, 0.5-5 w/w% of carbon fiber filaments, and 0.5-5 w/w% of graphitizing fibers based on the total amount of the composition. |
