FIELD: machine building.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, in particular, to friction disks. A friction disk comprises a metal body with eight recesses along the outer body outline and eight holes with composite friction patch pieces being fixed on the disk. Twelve grooves are provided on the friction surfaces of the friction patch pieces. The holes and recesses are alternating along the disk circumference. On one of the patch pieces four grooves are placed in the holes' zones and the other grooves are beyond the zones of the recesses and holes of the body. On another patch piece four grooves are placed in the zones of the body recesses, four grooves are placed in the zones of the body holes and the other grooves are beyond the zones of the recesses and holes of the body.EFFECT: it is provided for reduced formation of cracks and destruction of patch pieces thus disk strength is improved and its resistance to centrifugal loads is increased.
