The present invention provides a solar cell using a heterojunction quantum dot and a Schottky junction solar cell. The solar cell comprises a first conductive semiconductor layer; the Schottky junction solar cell including a metal layer formed on the first conductive semiconductor layer; and the heterojunction quantum dot which is disposed on the semiconductor layer and contains a core and a shell surrounding the core. The heterojunction quantum dot is configured to transmit an electron-electro pair formed by absorbing sunlight to the Schottky junction solar cell via a Forster resonance energy transfer (FRET). |
