Provided are an apparatus and a method to manage a real time pricing system using system marginal prices for time zones of a market reflecting a variable cost which calculates and provides real time costs using real time unit prices for electric power pricing systems calculated by reflecting the system marginal prices for time zones of a market reflecting a variable cost, and unit prices of the provider companies. A correction coefficient is calculated based on the provided and stored basic charges for the categories, unit prices for usage amount, system marginal prices for time zone, and unit prices for real time pricing system categories. Unit selling prices for time zones for pricing systems are set by adding or subtracting the calculated correction coefficient to or from the system marginal prices for time zones. A real time cost is calculated based on the unit selling prices for time zones, used amounts, and basic charges, and the calculated real time cost is provided to a user.
