DYE-SENSITIZED SOLAR CELL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

A method to manufacture a dye-sensitized solar cell module comprises the steps of: forming a counter electrode substrate by pressing a seal material of a conductive film or a metal foil on a softened electrode protection layer in a state whereby heat is applied to the electrode protection layer of a seal material film or a passivation film having a predetermined length and thickness to insert the seal material into the electrode protection layer; forming a working electrode substrate by forming a plurality of transparent electrodes of a transparent conducting oxide (TCO) on a transparent substrate having a predetermined length and thickness at predetermined intervals, forming a working electrode consisting of a light absorbing layer on each transparent electrode, and forming a barrier along the edge of each transparent electrode; forming, on one end of each transparent electrode, a connection electrode for an electrical connection with a counter electrode of a neighboring dye-sensitized solar cell module; and bonding the counter electrode substrate and the working electrode substrate by applying a predetermined pressure and heat after bonding the electrode protection layer having the seal material directed downwards to the working electrode substrate positioned thereunder.
