BIOMARKER COMPOSITION FOR DIAGNOSIS OF BORTEZOMIB RESISTANCE COMPRISING CYCLOPHILIN D AND DIAGNOSTIC KIT USING THE SAME

The present invention relates to a biomarker composition for the diagnosis of resistance to bortezomib used as a therapeutic agent for multiple myeloma comprising Cyclophilin D (CypD), and to a diagnostic kit using the same. Provided are a biomarker composition for diagnosing resistance to bortezomib comprising a CypD gene, protein expressed from the gene, or an antibody specific to the same; and a bortezomib resistance diagnostic kit comprising the composition. Moreover, provided in the present invention is a method for diagnosing bortezomib resistance which comprises a step of measuring mRNA expression level of the CypD gene or the expression level of the protein encoded by the gene from a sample of a patient with multiple myeloma and comparing with a normal control group sample.
