PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film that suppresses cissing, bright points, and unevenness, and has good front contrast, gradation inversion, and a difference in gradation reproducibility and hue between a front image and an oblique image, when being incorporated in a liquid crystal display device.SOLUTION: An optical film includes a first optical anisotropic layer 3, and a second optical anisotropic layer 4 that is provided on the surface of the first optical anisotropic layer 3. The first optical anisotropic layer 3 is a layer obtained by a liquid crystal compound being oriented, polymerized, and immobilized, and a surface tilt angle on a side in contact with the optical anisotropic layer 4 of the liquid crystal compound is 5 to 80°. |
