<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection device capable of suppressing deterioration of quality of an image formed on an ejection target even if a distance between a nozzle of a liquid ejection head and the ejection target varies.SOLUTION: A liquid ejection device includes: a liquid ejection head for ejecting the liquid onto a recording paper 2 by ejecting the liquid from the nozzle 27 by driving a piezo electric element 17; a carriage movement mechanism 5 for relatively moving the liquid ejection head and the recording paper 2; a drive signal generating unit 47 capable of generating a drive signal including multiple pulses for ejecting the liquid by driving the piezo electric element 17; and a controlling means for controlling an impression of the multiple drive pulses to the piezo electric element 17. The controlling means advances a timing of the drive pulses which are selected when a distance between the nozzle and the ejection target is relatively large compared to a timing of the drive pulses which are selected when a distance between the nozzle and the ejection target is relatively small.</p> |
