The method comprises: when a user equipment (UE) triggers a radio resource control (RRC) connection re-establishment process, stopping device-to-device (D2D) communication, and/or clearing a D2D link related timer and/or counter, and/or releasing configuration information for D2D communication. Therefore, the present invention prevents the problems of interference and power consumption/signaling overhead caused by the fact that a UE uses previous configuration to perform D2D communication when the UE is disconnected from a base station during RRC connection re-establishment.
