This display device is equipped with: a first screen for displaying a first image that includes an object to be displayed and is based on first image data; a second screen for displaying a second image that includes the object to be displayed and is based on second image data; a detection unit for detecting the position of an observer who observes the first screen and the second screen; and a control unit that corrects an image data portion of the second image data that pertains to the vicinity of the contour of the object to be displayed on the basis of the observer's position detected by the detection unit and causes the result to be displayed on the second screen.
