摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a sintered polycrystalline diamond with an improved impact resistance and thermal stability and a method for fabricating the same, and specifically, a method for fabricating a sintered polycrystalline diamond according to the present invention includes the steps of: spraying a cemented substrate containing a metal binder component with tungsten particles so as to form a tungsten coating layer; and sintering diamond powder on the tungsten coating layer so as to carburize the tungsten coating layer with the carbon gushing out from the diamond powder, wherein the carburized tungsten coating layer coheres to the metal binder component permeating the diamond powder layer. According to the present invention, the surface of the cemented disk to be joined with the diamond compact layer is sprayed with the tungsten particles at a high speed before sintering without an additional intermediate base material, thus controlling the content of the metal binder such as cobalt permeating from the cemented disk, and securing the stability of joining the diamond layer and the cemented layer in the interface.</p>
