The main purpose of the present invention is to provide a gas barrier film which is able to have high light transmittance, while maintaining high gas barrier properties with respect to water vapor and the like. The present invention achieves the above-described purpose by providing a gas barrier film which is characterized by comprising: a base which is formed of a transparent resin; an undercoat layer which is formed on the base from a fluorene-based acrylate that has a fluorene group and an oxyalkylene group having no hydroxy group in each constituent unit; an inorganic vapor-deposited layer which is formed on the undercoat layer from silicon oxide SiOx (1.7 ≤ x ≤ 2.2); and an overcoat layer which is formed on the inorganic vapor-deposited layer from a metal alkoxide and a water-soluble polymer, and which has a film thickness within the range of 250-500 nm.
