The box or feedthrough (1) has a covering (50) partially closing an aperture in a closed state of the box or feedthrough, where the aperture is limited by an outer contour. The covering is centrally arranged in the aperture. An annular gap is partially formed along the outer contour in the closed state of the box or feedthrough for feedthrough of cables between the covering and the outer contour. The annular gap i.e. ring, is formed 50%, preferably 75% along the outer contour. A base body designed as a support (3) fastens the box or feedthrough in a recess.
