<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress reduction of encoding efficiency by speed up of image encoding.SOLUTION: A slice 1 processing section 153 encodes individual macro block lines of a slice 1 from the bottom to the top. The slice 1 processing section 153 encodes the individual macro blocks in accordance with a state of a macro block left to the macro block of a processing object by one and a macro block lower than the macro block of the processing object by one. A slice 2 processing section 154 encodes the individual macro block lines of a slice 2 from the top to the bottom. The slice 2 processing section 154 encodes the individual macro blocks in accordance with the state of the macro block left to the macro block of the processing object by one and a macro block higher than the macro block of the processing object by one. The present invention can be applied to an image processor.</p> |
