PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To draw a marker in a three-dimensional manner in a part of a three-dimensional image desired by a user, without hiding it behind the three-dimensional image or interfering with an image other than an image to be pointed. ! SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes: display means for displaying a three-dimensional image on the basis of acquired three-dimensional information; detection means for detecting a position of a marker to point a part of the displayed three-dimensional image which is designated by user instruction received through an operation unit; and drawing means for drawing the three-dimensional marker on the foreground of the three-dimensional image so that a tip of the marker overlaps a three-dimensional position corresponding to the detected marker position. !
