PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a mobile station device to perform efficient cell search operation.SOLUTION: While a first base station device is communicating with a mobile station device, when the first base station device requests handover of the mobile station from the first base station device to a second base station device which performs communication at a frequency different from the first base station device, determines the number of times or time limit for the mobile station device to search for the second base station device on the basis of speed of the mobile station device, and transmits the determined number of times or time limit to the mobile station device. The mobile station device searches for the second base station device within a range of the number of times or time limit given by the first base station device. |
